The R-Strap was born in the fall of 2006, when professional photographer, Ronald Dean Henry decided that he needed a camera strap that would work well with his photojournalistic style of shooting.
Worn diagonally across the torso from the shoulder to hip, this patent-pending strap is connected to the tripod socket located on either the camera body or the lens using its locking FastenR. With the camera hanging upside down, resting snugly at your side or in the small of your back with the lens pointing behind you, the R-Strap keeps your camera safe when not in use. And when you spot the perfect chance for a shot, easy access allows you to glide the camera up the strap with one hand into shooting position.

FastenR-2 (FR-2)Like its predecessor, the FR-2 is a point of contact between your camera and your R-Strap, but this version is made from solid 304 stainless steel with an integral D-Ring for attachment to R-Strap's ConnectR-2. It offers tons more comfort when you are shooting in portrait style, as well as a greater sense of security knowing that the FR-2 has got your camera tightly fastened to your R-Strap.

CoupleRBehold, the coupling of two R-Straps into a two-camera carrying system! The CoupleR is BlackRapid's simplest solution to carrying two cameras. By coupling any two R-Straps in the back, and wearing them like a backpack, your cameras will hang vertically at your sides. You'll feel free and secure while having both cameras quickly accessible. The CoupleR is made from the same bomb-proof webbing used on the R-Straps, with the addition of high-strength elastic for automatic sizing. Simply snap one or more CoupleRs to the back portion of two R-Straps and adjust their height for comfort. Presto! Two cameras at your beck and call.
