Carrying one, two cameras around with you all day on an assignment can be a very tiring affair, especially if non-ergonomic, ill-fitting straps are used. Work aside, you will probably worry about your swaying cameras when moving around and the discomforting, literal pain in the neck that's developing from the weight of your equipment.

The good people at Cotton Carrier understand these problems that are plaguing photographers (they're photographers too!) and came up with the ingenious solution of a harness that holds on securely to your camera, freeing up your hands, and evenly spreading the weight of your camera so that there is less strain on your neck.

You know it's good stuff when it has won the world over with more than 2,000 units sold since its launch in June 2009!

The Cotton Carrier Camera System is great for sports, outdoor, commercial, wedding, portrait and studio photography and consists of:

• A vest unit
• A side holster
• Two sets of camera inserts and/or two sets of angled camera inserts

The Vest Unit and Side Holster

The adjustable vest unit and removable side holster are made of durable 1680 Denier Polypropylene material and both fitted with a camera receptacle made from Lexan™ which is a lightweight, low-friction, high-impact plastic often used on windshields of jet airplanes.

Besides allowing you to carry a second camera as part of the harness system, the side holster can be removed and used as a standalone on your camera backpack strap, belt or even waist strap, whichever you like.

The Camera Inserts

The camera inserts comprise of an anodized aluminum hub, a marine-grade stainless steel bolt that securely threads into your camera's tripod mount, and a high-density rubber washer.

The camera inserts are now also available in an ANGLED version, sloping at 15° to fit large professional or battery-gripped cameras.

Important Notice

Made from such an impressive list of industrial materials, the Cotton Carrier is designed to hold any configuration of DSLR and lens but that said, it is still important to observe the following restrictions:

1. Side Holster - due to its position near the hip area, mild swinging is inevitable so for this unit, it is advisable to use smaller camera and lens combination, such as non-battery gripped cameras and shorter lenses (for e.g. 24-70mm, 135mm).
2. Vest Unit - since the torso area remains relatively stable when walking, non-battery gripped cameras with medium to longer, lighter lenses (for e.g. 70-200mm, 300mm) are suitable combinations as attachment to this unit.
