You might be wondering how the name HARMAN came about - it is actually named after Alfred Harman, the founder of ILFORD which is known all over the world, especially among fans of the classic Baryta paper, as the leading manufacturer of black and white photo papers. This black and white photo paper manufacturing department was taken over by HARMAN Technology Ltd in 2005, and since then, HARMAN's development of new inkjet coatings has resulted in its ability to produce the best inkjet media with the look and feel of traditional darkroom paper.
Hahnemühle, on the other hand, is synonymous with the highest quality and expertise in the paper-manufacturing field. With more than 400 years of experience, it's products are well-loved by professionals for their museum quality and ability to meet the highest demands for aesthetics and durability.
