The Striker is light and easy to handle. It has three points of contact:

1. One hand on the handgrip
2. The gunstock on your chest
3. Your focusing hand on the lens

The principle is this: the less hands there are holding the actual camera, the more stable the video will be.

The entire kit is infinitely adjustable - simply adjust the many Zacuto red levers to suit any body type or shape. The handgrip and gunstock both use a ball joint so you can rotate them 180° for user comfort. The handgrip can also be positioned on the left or right side, depending on what hand you would like to focus your lens with and it can also be configured for a left-eye shooter.

You can also add a fourth point of contact for extra stabilization by adding one of the Z-Finders (optional) to the kit.

The Gorilla Plate, included in this kit, attaches to the bottom of your camera using the standard tripod screw hole and has a 15mm hole at the bottom which allows you to attach the main rod for the Striker rig. You can free the rig from the Gorilla Plate simply by flipping the red lever. To move quickly from handheld to tripod, you can also install a tripod plate on the Gorilla Plate.
