Designed for: Small Camera Bodies with Battery Grips such as the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 7D and Nikon D90.
The Z-Finder Mounting Frame (made from aircraft aluminum) must be used in conjunction with the Gorilla Baseplate - attachment is done via two thumb screws.
With the mounting frame attached, the Gorilla Baseplate is then mounted onto the bottom of your camera. The frame has a rubber coating on the side that is in contact with the LCD screen, causing pressure to keep it in place.
The connection between the Z-Finder and frame is a snap fit: snap the Z-Finder on or off quickly to switch between shooting video and stills. To release the frame from your camera, you must un-do the thumb screws and slide the frame off.

Note: If you are not using a battery grip on your camera, you should use the standard small frame (included with your Z-Finder Pro). If you have a taller camera body, such as the Canon EOS 1D Mark IV or Nikon D3s, you should use the mounting frame for tall DSLR bodies.
