The 80-20 is named after its ability to effectively deliver "two light" lighting with one flash: it enlarges and redirects 20% of the light at a 90° angle from the flash while allowing 80% of the light to pass on, to be redirected by another surface, most likely a ceiling. The 20% that is redirected forward towards the subject will fill the shadows cast by the ceiling bounce.
This product is ideal in situations in which an 8-9 feet neutral-colored ceiling is available.
