The secret to the Gorillapod’s gripping power lies in the soft rubber rings around each joint and the rubberized feet. The high coefficient of friction of the special rubber prevents the Gorillapod from slipping in even the toughest environments so much so that one user enthuses that with the Gorillapod, “the world is your tripod”.
