Gitzo GB4571XL Series 4 Carbon Fiber 7-Section Boompole

The Gitzo GB4571XL is a special 7-section microphone boom that extends up to 473 cm, the biggest of the new range. This new-generation carbon fiber microphone boom guarantees sound engineers precise and reliable support, ensuring intuitive, easy cable handling for quick and secure setup in all situations. Despite its extensive reach, this boom is comfortable and makes easy work of flawless sound takes. It has all Gitzo’s renowned distinctive design features, including stiffness, stability and lightness – with extra extension.

The GB4571XL is built with the very latest, high-performance Carbon eXact tubing, ensuring high levels of stiffness and rigidity even when extended to its full length - elimiating unwanted flexing and keeping microphones stable in the desired position. 

The boom features an ergonomic front-hand rubber grip that helps users hold it stably and comfortably. The tube locks have been upgraded to G-lock Ultra, Gitzo's latest-generation quick and rigid leg-locking mechanism.
