Our CFexpress Type B card relies on the Angelbird Y2 super-processor designed specifically for RAW photo and video content creation and is designed to protect against overheating and to operate at a reduced power draw.

It is vital for a card to sustain a data stream of a certain bitrate from the camera to avoid any dropped frames. Sustained speed refers to the card’s recording speed that will not drop below a certain point. When it comes to CFexpress, the industry would have you believe that maximum speed is the lead indicator of quality performance.

Don’t fall into the trap of thinking max speed is the best speed! Many media cards that promote max write speed often burst out of the gate and then level off into a comfortable operating speed for recording... IF they can even hit those speeds at all.

We prefer to avoid the pissing contest over fastest speeds. But go ahead, compare away! You’ll see that we can hit some serious max speed with our CFexpress Type B technology.
