Focus in an Instant
The new AF-C mode ² brings reliable continuous autofocus, accurately detecting and tracking moving subjects. In AF-S mode, 425 PDAF zones that spread over the 100-megapixel sensor work with the LiDAR for fast, accurate focusing. A new AF illuminator improves autofocus performance in low light and doubles as a self-timer indicator.
AF-C Continuous Autofocus
For the first time on a Hasselblad, X2D II 100C features AF-C continuous autofocus ². Powered by deep learning algorithms, it reliably detects and tracks human, vehicles, cats and dogs in various poses throughout the capture.
HNCS HDR Highlight Images
Building on HNCS, X2D II 100C's HNCS HDR harnesses high dynamic range to elevate Hasselblad's signature natural colours to new heights of brilliance. Even in harsh light, it prevents overexposure more effectively whilst revealing more detail. HDR images captured with X2D II 100C can be viewed directly on the built-in 1400-nit touchscreen or on compatible MacBook Pro models. When SDR photography is preferred, simply switch modes in camera settings.
1TB Internal SSD
With 1TB of built-in SSD storage, X2D II 100C eliminates the anxiety of running out of space in the course of your creative endeavours. Write speeds of up to 2370MB/s and read speeds of up to 2850MB/s ensure the camera keeps pace with your creativity. When additional storage is needed, the CFexpress Type B slot stands ready.
Refined Appearance
Crafted with an advanced finishing process, the graphite grey matte coating combines exceptional durability with a refined, subtle texture, with the black lettering adding a final touch of distinction. A newly optimised internal structure reduces weight by 7.5% ⁹compared with X2D 100C for effortless handling, while the redesigned grip ensures lasting comfort, even on the longest creative journeys.
5D Joystick and Custom Buttons
A 5D joystick beside the touchscreen allows swift focus point selection and intuitive menu navigation. With two new custom buttons—now totalling eight—personalised control is always at your fingertips.
Each Lens Tells Its Story
Hasselblad XCD lenses feature compact designs, stunning high resolution, and leaf shutters with flash synchronisation at all speeds, readily reaching the balance between sharp and soft in and out of focus.
The XCD lens lineup covers a focal range from 20mm to 230mm, meeting the various needs of any photographer. Every press of the shutter freezes the moment into beautiful high-quality imagery. With in-camera lens corrections ¹⁰, basic post-processing adjustments are reduced.
