About the Instructors

Ian Wee

Ian is a Certified Instructor for Adobe Premiere Pro, and Blackmagic DaVinci, as well as a Dolby Vision Certified Professional who has conducted training for companies like HBO, Disney, Globecast, Mediacorp, Meta and Mothership among others.

Incorporating his on-the-ground experience into his talks, courses and classes, Ian has taught many professionals and tertiary institutions on workflow, post-production, HDR, RAW and Stereoscopic 3D, with the aim of dispelling misconceptions the media industry has about these technologies.


Lim Teck Siang

Teck is formally-trained in the discipline of filmmaking and is currently pursuing his career in professional cinematography. In both commercial and independent work, he is known for his knowledge of narrative film techniques, expertise in cinematographic technology, as well as his strong collaborative spirit and effective team leadership.

In his approach to narrative cinematography, Teck seeks balance between poetry, emotion and technical precision. He has lensed projects for top Singapore directors Boo Junfeng, Anthony Chen, Tai Heng, Warren Klass, Jasmine Ng, Brian Gothong Tan, Royston Tan, and Wilson Yip. As a strong supporter of the Singapore film industry, he also works regularly with emerging local directors. In addition to lensing narrative projects, Teck also regularly shoots commercial projects.

Teck's narrative works have been screened and won multiple awards at festivals including Singapore International Film Festival, Taipei Film Festival, International Critics’ Week @ Cannes, Pan African Film Festival, AFI Fest, EnergaCAMERIMAGE, Busan International Film Festival, International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival and more. Teck is an alumni of the Asian Film Academy program held yearly in conjunction with the Busan International Film Festival.

He has a Bachelor's Degree in filmmaking from the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University, and completed his Masters in Cinematography at the American Film Institute, supported by the Singapore Info-Comm Media Development Authority's Media Education Scholarship. Most recently, he attended UK’s prestigious National Film and Theater School where he attained the Certificate in Virtual Production.
