Elinchrom Zoom Pro Flash Head

The Elinchrom Zoom Pro Head works with all Elinchrom power packs manufactured in or after 1981. Its Intelligent Flash Cooling system reacts to the heat generated by the 300W modeling lamp and 3,000W/s flash tube by running quicker at peak performance and slower at lower power, thereby extending their life. The head gets its name from the unusual focusing design, which lets you move the flash tube closer or further away from the reflector, similar to an open-face hot light, for harsher or softer effects, or to perfectly fill the accessory when in use.

While the recycling period varies depending on the pack in use, suffice it to state that the Zoom Pro can handle any Elinchrom product. The head contains a clear, protected glass dome and a built-in 90° reflector, ideal for umbrellas or soft boxes. A typical Elinchrom bayonet mount allows you to use the famed EL-Reflector and Rotalux light shaping tools.
