Camera control
Using intuitive, on-screen sliders you can adjust white balance, lens aperture, shutter speed/angle and ISO. A red edge display indicates when the camera is recording internally, whether triggered by the camera or from the Ninja TX GO. Control is available for most Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony mirrorless cameras over USB-C, and all Z CAM E2 series models (LANC cable required, purchased separately).

Touch to focus
Tap the Ninja TX GO touchscreen to have the camera automatically focus on your point of interest. Touch to focus takes advantage of camera focus modes such as focus tracking for effortless control and sharp images. Available with compatible cameras only.
50% brighter 1500 nit screen
The Ninja TX GO 1500 nit screen is now 50% brighter, and is packed with pro monitoring features like EL Zone™ false color, focus peaking, waveform, RGB parade, vector scope and more! All Ninja models feature the Atomos OS combined with the 5-inch touchscreen interface to give you far more control of your shot, displaying much more detail than your camera’s built‑in display.
Record to CFexpress and more!
Atomos invented the concept of a monitor that also records to high capacity, inexpensive removable media. Previous Ninjas used removable SSD Drives*, but now with Ninja TX GO you can choose to record on either CFexpress* or an external hard drive* with high-speed USB-C connection. So now you have even more recording media options!
*Storage media purchased separately. Minimum performance / certification requirements apply
Integrated wireless features
Ninja TX GO comes with everything included for Wi-Fi cloud connectivity, including 20GB of free ATOMOSphere storage and the ability to share footage with anyone, anywhere. Just as with Ninja or Ninja Ultra (fitted with Atomos Connect), you can upload directly to camera to cloud platforms like frame.io and Dropbox, or transmit and receive NDI 6 / HX3 streams.
The versatile monitoring and recording solution
Pro productions
Many professional filmmakers rely on their Ninja to give them pristine RAW video direct from the camera sensor. Unlike many cameras, Ninja can record for hours, not minutes. And all Ninjas come with an array of professional monitoring tools that help you really nail the perfect shot.
Content creators
Ninja is lightweight and portable, perfect for content creators on the go. Its extensive monitoring tools include many different industry-standard frame guides that make it easy to compose your footage for different social channels, without having to reset and re‑frame.
Max out your workflow options
Ninja set the benchmark for 5-inch, HDMI monitor-recorders. Ninja TX GO raise the bar.
Ninja TX GO includes HDMI input and output, up to 6Kp30 Apple ProRes/RAW recording to ultra-fast CFexpress or external USB media, camera control on supported cameras, and a full suite of professional monitoring tools. It features built-in camera-to-cloud with free ATOMOSphere membership, supports NDI 6 streaming, and runs on the lightning-fast AtomOS Linux platform. No other monitor-recorder packs so much performance and compatibility into such a compact, connected device.
CFexpress
Both Ninja TX GO take performance to the next level with support for high-speed CFexpress Type B cards (sold separately). This cutting-edge media format gives you faster read/write speeds, higher resolutions, and more reliable recording – ideal for demanding ProRes RAW workflows.
USB-C
Both Ninja TX GO have three USB‑C ports, one of which is used to power the device. The other USB‑C ports enable the direct attachment of external storage media or network adaptors. It’s a future-ready addition designed to keep pace with content creation needs.
Tally light
Adding a tally light to Ninja TX GO is a simple but powerful update that is especially useful in live production setups. A tally light provides a clear visual indicator of when the camera is recording or broadcasting. When Ninja TX GO is recording, the light automatically turns red (live/on-air). If the tally light is green it indicates to the talent that the camera/monitor-recorder is on preview or standby.
Unique cable locking system
Atomos has developed a unique and rugged locking ecosystem to maintain a secure grip on connected HDMI and USB-C cables. Ninja TX GO comes with special brackets to facilitate this, and a USB-C locking cable. With Atomos locking cables you get the most robust cable system available today.
Flexible power options
USB-C PD
Both Ninja TX GO support USB-C Power Delivery (PD), which allows the device to be powered directly from a compatible USB-C source, including power banks, & wall adapters.
NP-F battery
NP-F batteries are ideal for field use—powering your monitor-recorder through extended shoots without the need for frequent swaps or complex power setups. (Purchased separately)
Battery eliminator
Compatible with all Atomos monitors that accept an NP-F Sony L-Series type battery. Requires the separately available Atomos Locking AC Power Adapter to provide power. (Purchased separately)
Unmatched codec & frame rate flexibility
Resolution and frame rates
The Ninja series supports a wide range of resolutions and frame rates, depending on the output of your camera: up to 120fps at HD resolution, up to 60fps at 4K UHD/DCI and up to 30fps at 8K UHD/DCI resolution. Shooting in higher frame rates is typically used for slow motion playback or fast action scenes.
Choice of codecs
All Ninjas come with Apple ProRes, Avid DNx and H.265/H.264 pre-activated, so you can start shooting immediately with the codec best suited to your project. Ninja TX GO also include NDI 6 / HX3 as standard.
LOG formats
The Ninja TX GO supports the use of select Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon log formats. Upload custom 3D LUTs to the monitor and output HDR conversion to Log, HLG, PQ, or Dolby Vision formats.
Professional monitoring tools
The Ninja range offers a comprehensive suite of simple, one-touch monitoring tools for focus, framing, and exposure, including focus peaking, zoom (2:1, 1:1), zebras, false color (including ARRI and EL Zone™), frame guides, SMPTE safe areas, grid markers, waveforms, an RGB parade, vectorscope, and flexible 3D/1D LUT support with profile and preset options (including .cube file uploads). Additionally, Ninja provides anamorphic de-squeeze monitoring to correct the ratio for anamorphic lens setups.
EL Zone
All Ninja monitor-recorders support EL Zone, a professional false color exposure tool that helps you see exactly how bright or dark different parts of your image are. Unlike traditional false color systems that use rough IRE ranges, EL Zone assigns specific colors to exact exposure values—based on stops of light, in the same way your camera sees exposure. It’s a precise and consistent way to expose your image correctly every time.
LUTS
A Ninja monitor-recorder receives LOG signals from the camera and offers real-time LUT (Look-Up Table) preview to approximate what the final graded image will look like in Rec.709 — all while recording in high-quality ProRes, DNxHR, or ProRes RAW. Custom LUTs (.cube files) can be loaded from the CFexpress card or SSD and used in conjunction with the Ninja’s built-in monitoring tools for precise exposure control.
See true colors with HDR precision
Brightness
Ninja TX GO have a 5-inch, 10-bit HDR/SDR touchscreen display, 1500 nits of brightness. Screens are viewable in direct sunlight and sun hoods are available as a separate purchase for extreme conditions.
High Dynamic Range
You can view 10+ stops of dynamic range from a LOG/PQ/HLG signal. Ninja’s unique HDR monitoring features help you simplify the complexities of shooting LOG and HDR, because it is possible to replicate post-production workflows when it matters most – while you are shooting.
Calibrated
Calibration is the key to a trustworthy monitor. Ninja TX GO can be calibrated with Calibrite Display Pro HL / Plus HL probe using the Atomos Calibrator app, for ongoing accurate HDR and Rec.709 monitoring. Accurate monitoring ensures reliable results.
Cut the cables. Stay connected.
Wireless connectivity is integrated into Ninja TX GO.
Camera to Cloud
Camera to Cloud (C2C) is a workflow that lets you upload your video files directly from your connected Atomos monitor-recorder to the cloud, from wherever you’re shooting. There’s no time lost transporting and copying drives. Ninja TX Go have everything you need to do C2C built in, for Ninja/Ninja Ultra you need to purchase Atomos Connect separately. Cloud-enabled monitor-recorders support direct upload to our own cloud platform ATOMOSphere, as well as third-party platforms, including Frame.io and Dropbox.
NDI 6 HX3 transmit and receive
NDI is a way to send and receive video over ordinary networks (including Wi-Fi and mobile) in high quality, but with remarkably low bandwidth requirements. It’s used increasingly in live production and events. Any Ninja can be fully integrated into an NDI environment, either as an NDI source, visible to all other authorized devices on the network, or as an NDI receiver, with all the monitoring functionality you expect from an Atomos device. NDI is included with Ninja TX GO.
Powerful system management tools
Dual Record
Record full-quality ProRes RAW up to 4Kp60 while simultaneously recording HDp60 in H.265. It’s the best of both worlds. Craft your edit with the H.265 ‘proxy’ files. If that’s good enough quality for social media, send it out. If not, autoconfirm with the ProRes RAW master files for grading and finishing in post production.
Matching filenames
Automatically match filenames, timecode and record triggers from ARRI, Canon, RED and Sony cameras or the Nikon Z9 over HDMI. Matching back to the original in-camera (OCF) filenames makes a auto conforming proxy files a breeze.
SegmentPro
Segment/split long recordings into smaller, user-defined chunks, all without dropping a frame. With SegmentPro you can fit your files into any workflow. It’s easier to share smaller files, and safer too: if you lose a big file, you’ve lost everything. Working with smaller files minimizes this risk.
