While the Icon isn't a camera bag specifically, if you still want to carry your camera, the Capsule 1 (sold separately) is a perfect companion and fits perfectly inside the Icon.

The Icon comes with aarious internal pockets, including two mesh pockets, two almost full-height pockets, a full-width pocket, a full-width zip compartment and front dump pockets.

Discreet AirTag Pocket

A discreet AirTag pocket can be found in the zipped internal pocket. To put your AirTag in, put it in the pocket and then slide it up the gap that can be found inside the front panel of the pocket.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I put a camera insert in this bag even though it's a leisure bag?

• A Hadley Large Padded Insert does technically fit inside but it is not recommended. The reason for this is because the Icon isn't designed as a camera bag, there are no internal press studs for an insert to securely attach to. In addition, the internal pockets and features such as the water bottle holder will not be able to be used to their full potential or at all with a camera insert in.

What laptop can fit in the full width pocket?

• A 14” laptop can fit in the full width internal pocket, with a case. We strongly recommend using a case because this full width pocket has no padding on one side and mild padding on the other, therefore is not sufficient to protect your laptop alone.

Why are there studs on the sides of the bag?

• The lining inside this bag is attached only around the top edge. The side studs help hold the lining securely in place, preventing it from being pulled out or turning inside out when the bag is used.

What if I want to carry camera gear and everyday items?

• The Capsule 1 is a great fit for the Icon as it fits vertically and still has plenty of room for everyday items such as a laptop with a case, water bottle etc. If you only want to carry camera gear, you might want to consider getting the following camera bags instead: Hadley Pro / Hadley Pro 2020, Hadley One or Hadley Large.

Why is there no top handle?

• The Icon takes its inspiration from the Hadley Original, Billingham's iconic messenger bag. To preserve the simplicity and timeless look of the original design, they chose not to include a top handle.
